HISTORY

The Test Pilot is a Donn Beach tiki drink from around 1941, built from Jamaican and Puerto Rican rums, falernum, lime, Cointreau and a dash of Pernod. Its aviation name and layered rum base place it alongside the Jet Pilot and the Q.B. Cooler. Beach revised the recipe over time, and several versions survive.
