Cape Codder
Vodka and cranberry juice with a squeeze of lime: the original vodka-cranberry.
1945Historical classicResearched
The Cape Codder was created in 1945 as the Red Devil, a promotional drink for cranberry juice, and later renamed for Cape Cod. Vodka, cranberry and a squeeze of lime make one of the simplest highballs in the canon. Its success helped turn cranberry juice into a standard cocktail mixer.
